The mission of CatholicEclipsed is to help fellow Catholics or those of good will seeking faith and understanding during the unprecedented crisis in the Church. That such a task should devolve to the laity is the unfortunate consequence of widespread apostasy from the Catholic religion, even within, or especially within, the ranks of the hierarchy.
Touchstone of the Faith
People are confused about what it means to be Catholic. It is hoped that the CatholicEclipsed website can help alleviate that confusion by keeping close to the touchstone of orthodox doctrine of the perennial ordinary universal magisterium of the Church as taught and handed down through the ages by theologians, bishops, doctors, and popes.
We aim to publish at least one research article a week on Apologetics, Catechesis, Catholic Life, or Prayer and Mysticism. These are more serious in tone and instructional and should be studied as much as read, or even reread. We will also publish blog posts regularly, which will be lighter in tone, more down-to-earth and encouraging for your faith.
